Getting ready for the 2023 Tamkaliks Celebration (Video)

This important cultural event would not be possible without all of the Tamkaliks’ volunteers. Regardless of blistering temperatures on July 15, volunteers were busy preparing the arbor and facilities throughout the day. Each July, the Homeland becomes a place of reunion for descendants of the original inhabitants of waláwa, the Wallowa country.
