She has been in the news business since the mid s90 publishing local news, human interest, and environmental stories. Her writing has been published on Wallowa Valley Online (2009-2020) and on her studio website at WildHorsesThunder.studio since 2021.

Getting ready for the 2023 Tamkaliks Celebration (Video)
This important cultural event would not be possible without all of the Tamkaliks’ volunteers. Regardless of blistering temperatures on July 15, volunteers were busy preparing the arbor and facilities throughout the day. Each July, the Homeland becomes a place of reunion for descendants of the original inhabitants of waláwa, the Wallowa country. Tamkaliks Celebration- (almost) always the 3rd Weekend in July “Tamkaliks” comes from the Nez Perce language and means “from where you can see the mountains.” Each July, the Homeland becomes a place of reunion for descendants of the original inhabitants of waláwa, the Wallowa country.
