With weather conditions finally right for travel, the Nixyaawii Golden Eagles traveled to Joseph to face the Joseph Eagles. 

With Nixiyaawii ladies’ pre-game league standings of 3-0 (overall 11-2) vs. Joseph EGals record of 3-0 but an overall standing of 6-5, the game could have been a close one, but it wasn’t supposed to be that day.  Nixyaawii ladies went home with a clear win and a final score of  30-64. 

  • 1st quarter – 3-16
  • 2nd quarter – 12-29
  • 3rd quarter -26-42
  • Final Score – 30-64

The Joseph boys’ league record stood at 2-0 (overall 4-5) pregame vs. Nixywaawii’s 2-1 league and overall standing of 10-4. Nixywaawii also went home with a clear win and a final score of 60-88.

  • 2nd quarter – 28-42
  • 3rd quarter – 46-67
  • Final Score – 60-88
